KIMBO SLICE VS. JAMES "MEGAPUNK" THOMPSON

It's official. Kimbo Slice will fight James "Megapunk" Thompson in his next fight, on May 31st, headlining the EliteXC NBC TV Prime time fight card. The fight will take place at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J.

Make no mistake about it folks. Kimbo's handlers are bringing him along slowly. As they should. The only way to get experience, is by fighting MMA style fights, of which Kimbo has no experience.

James Thompson, should present no challenge. He has a glass jaw, and has lost 6 of his last 8 fights. His overall record is 14-8. He actually lost to Butterbean!

EliteXC realizes what a meal ticket Slice is. Love him or hate him, Slice will bring MMA fighting to the masses, to those that might not normally be interested. So, it's in their best interest that Kimbo keeps on winning.
