KIMBO SLICE FIGHTS

Kimbo-Slice-Fights.com has learned today that CBS television has made a deal with Elite XC to bring four fight cards to Saturday Night Prime Time television as starting as early as this April. Current plans are to have Kimbo Slice headline the first card on CBS.

This move will be another stepping stone in bringing Mixed Martial Arts to the masses. No better way to do that than ride the back of MMA's latest hero, Kimbo Slice. Slice, a Miami street fighter and internet sensation thanks to Youtube is destined to become the biggest star MMA has ever seen. Heck, after just 3 fights he may already be the biggest star MMA has ever seen!

Hardcore MMA fans take offense to this. Many don't believe Kimbo Slice can handle the more skilled fighters out there. They think he'll be exposed when he steps up in class. However, those hardcore fans need to realize, this is good for your sport.

If it turns out Kimbo can't handle the best, so be it. Just think of all the new fans, and future fighters Kimbo has already helped your sport reach. But if Kimbo keeps winning, look out. You're looking at a fighting sensation not seen since the days of Mike Tyson. Time will tell.

Kimbo Slice made just $175,000 for his destruction of Tank Abbot a few weeks ago. Expect to see those purses rise in spectacular fashion with each fight.
